RADIATION DETECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH RESPONSE IMPROVED

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the variation in the optical response output even though a rod has variation in the axial position in light producing by equipping the rod with a chamfered end edge. SOLUTION: An X-ray sensor 26 (CAT) for computer-assisted tomographic X-ray photography has orientation of cadmium tungstate scintillation crystal rod 28 to be coupled with a photodiode 24 for producing photo-output, wherein the rod 28 is chamfered and equipped with an end edge 20 for decreasing the variation in the optical response output of the rod 28 for the photodiode 24 caused by rod variation in the axial position in light producing.
