PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To matevalize the low fuel consumption in an automobile in which an internal combustion engine and a dynamo-electric machine are made to serve as prime power, by varying rates of fuel supply and stop so as to control the fuel injection of the internal combustion engine on the basis of the output request rate of the prime power, and controlling the dynamo-electric machine on the basis of the output request rate of the prime power and the output of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A vehicular power source controller 12 calculates the torque request rate of a power source on the basis of an automobile speed found out from the engine speed of an internal combustion engine 1 and the output signal of a rotation detector 18, and dispatches fuel supplying or stopping instruction to a fuel controller 11. It also calculates the torque request rate of a dynamo-electric machine 8, and applies torque instructions to a driving device 10, and also controls a throttle actuator 5 and an ignition device. That is, for example, the dynamo-electric machine 8 is made to act as a generator when fuel is supplied to the internal combustion engine 1, and made to act as an electric motor when fuel is stopped, therefore, the output fluctuation of the internal combustion engine 1 caused by supplying and stopping fuel is absorbed by the dynamo-electric machine 8. |
