PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the concentration (volume) of carbon dioxide in order to improve the generating output of a fuel cell. SOLUTION: This system is formed of a reformer 2 for bringing raw fuel into reaction with water to manufacture a hydrogen-rich reformed gas, a hydrogen generating part 4 having a removing device 3 for adsorbing carbon dioxide in the reformed gas, and a fuel cell 1 for introducing the hydrogen in the reformed gas to generate electricity. The removing device 3 has an ion exchange resin layer. Since the ion exchange resin layer selectively adsorbs carbon dioxide in the reformed gas, carbon dioxide concentration can be significantly reduced. It is further preferred to connect a plurality of removing devices 3 in parallel, alternately pass the reformed gas to one removing device 3a while closing the other removing device 3b, and isolate and regenerate carbon dioxide from the ion exchange resin layer of the closed removing device 3b. |
