PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring equipment for multimedia easy to install. SOLUTION: A base unit BU1 is substantially cylindrical as the whole, and has a substantially circular recessed part 1 having a conically tapered inside surface on the installing surface. The recessed part has a plug insert port 2 for modular jack on the substantially central bottom surface. On the other hand, a function unit FU1 has a substantially conical fitting protruding base 6 integrally provided on the installing surface of a disc-like base part 5. A base plate 7 having a modular jack 3 protruded thereon is rotatably mounted on the upper surface of the fitting protruding base 6. In installation, the function base unit FU1 is guided into the recessed part 1 of the base unit BU1 along the tapered surface 1a of the recessed part 1, and the modular plug 3 of the function unit FU1 is guided to about the center of the base unit BU1 having the plug insert port 2, whereby the fitting protruding base 6 of the function unit FU1 can be smoothly fitted into the recessed part 1 of the base unit BU1 .
