<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate and feed even a sheet such as an OHP, and prevent deterioration of the separation and feed performance of the sheet such as regular paper. SOLUTION: A notch C is formed in a surface to be brought into slidable contact with a sheet S of a separation pad 44 to divide the surface into a plurality of pieces, and a clearance 60 not to interfere the deformation of the parts divided by the notch C is provided. Each divided part is deformed so as to be fallen in carrying the sheet of high adhesion, and a clearance is formed between the surface of the separation pad 44 and the sheet S to reduce the friction. In carrying the sheet of low adhesion, no clearance is formed because each divided part is not fallen, and the sufficient friction is obtained in a similar manner to the conventional one, and the sheet can surely be separated. Because each divided part of the separation pad 44 is deformed in the clearance 60 without being interfered with a pad holder 45, the function of the notch C can surely be demonstrated.</p> |
