Differential circuit-breaker with automatic reset device, which comprises a detector circuit 11, powered by a detector winding 9 arranged on a toroidal core 8 crossed by the conductors of an alternating current line 1, which generates a dropout voltage Td according to the fault current Id of the circuit down line 4; a comparison circuit 12 which, once the control relay is activated and the differential circuit-breaker cuts out 3, continuously generates a test voltage Tp according to the level of insulation of the circuit down line 4; and a reset circuit 13 which, according to the dropout Td and test Tp voltages, respectively disconnects and connects the circuit down line 4 from the differential circuit- breaker.
