Mechanical road sweeper with suction system

The mechanical road sweeper has a suction system comprising a rubbish tank (3) closed by a movable roof (8). The suction system comprises a horizontal filtration grille (4) in which the turbine (1) is mounted in an inverted position on several hydraulic bearings (2). The perforated grille surface is positioned parallel to and fixed to the movable roof so as to create a suction space (5). The turbine which is carried by three supports (11) fixed to the grille has its suction surface in a lower plane than that of the grill. The turbine whose axis is vertical is in a housing (10) above the rubbish tank. A joint (9) seals between the turbine suction face and the housing periphery. A flexible pipe (7) seals the turbine blower outlet (6).
