PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment process for a substrate by which a sufficient antistaining action with high persistency as well as a high weather resistance can be achieved. SOLUTION: A surface treatment solution containing (1) a silicon-containing organic fluorine polymer of the formula (where Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl group; Z is fluorine or trifluoromethyl; (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) are independent from each other and represent 0 or an integer of >=1 and a+b+c+d+e is at least >=1 and the order of the groups enclosed by (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the recurring units are not strictly limited; X represents H, Br or I; R<1> is OH or a hydrolyzable substituent; R<2> is H or a monovalent hydrocarbon group; (1) is 0, 1 or 2; (m) is 1, 2 or 3 and (n) is an integer of 1 or more), (2) a fluorine- containing organic solvent and (3) a silane compound [except for the silicon- containing organic fluorine polymer (1)] is applied to the surface of a substrate or a base material. |
