The Current Source Architecture D to A convertor has multiple switches (I11,I21-I1n,I2n) to which an incoming digital code train is applied in switch pairs. Each switch has its own current source. The switch pairs are applied across a common line, and there is a current drain to earth (P1,P2) connected to each line. The line is applied to a differential amplifier (A2). The differential amplifier forms an active time filter with the output voltage forming the generated analogue signal. |
