PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send data and broadcast data in well matching stipulated in the reports Nos.83, 44, 53 in the satellite digital broadcast scheduled to be in service based on the report No.74 with respect to the inquiry of the Moving Picture Experts Group. SOLUTION: In the case of making data broadcast in the digital broadcast system, a broadcast station side encodes data of layer 2 of data broadcast in compliance with the Packetized Elementary System(PES) or SECTION of layer 5 in digital broadcast and broadcasts the resulting data, and a receiver side extracts and decodes the data of the layer 2 of data broadcast from the received PES or SECTION data of the layer 5 of digital broadcast. |
