<p>The invention is used in firing green bricks having vertical hollows in the building materials industry. It reduced the amount of air required for the firing. By the method, the green bricks (2) are arranged in one layer in rows and stacks on transport vehicle for drying (12) and firing (20) and are dried using hot air. The green bricks (2) are placed at such distances in drying and/or firing where they are treated as a monolith block. The device consists of a drier (8) having at least one drying channel and a firing kiln (9). Transport vechicles driven in cycles ate fitted in the drier channel (8), the drying channel and the firing kiln (9) are fitted next to each other, and the drying (12) and firing (20) transport vechicles run in the same direction. The air supply and discharge nozzles, (15, 16) are arranged to change alternatively, and the torches (25) in the kiln are arranged in rows.</p> |
