The connection consists of at least one latching element (12) of the electrical component (10) which engages behind the edge of a recess (2) in the carrying vehicle part (1). A plug element (21) attached to the electrical component is in contact with the vehicle part so that the latching element is applied to the vehicle part. The plug element is in contact with the surface of the carrying vehicle part remote from the latching element. The surface of the plug element facing the carrying part is inclined wrt. it. The section of the plug element adjoining the end part (22) which is plugged onto the component is separate from the carrying part.
