PERSONAL HANDYPHONE SYSTEM, ITS RATIO REPEATER AND RADIO TERMINAL EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the utilizing form desired by the user and to extend the utility range by using the radio repeater so as to relay a radio wave from a public base station. SOLUTION: A public communication network 1 has a position registration database 3 and is connected to a general subscriber telephone set 5 and public base stations 7A-7C with wired lines. The public base stations 7A-7C make communication with an optional PHS terminal 13. Furthermore, the public base station 7A is connected to a radio repeater 9 via a radio channel with a public radio frequency f1 , and the radio repeater 9 is connected to a PHS terminal 11 via a radio channel with a radio frequency f3 . Information the same as that sent from the public base station 7A with the public radio frequency f1 is relayed to a PHS terminal 11 by using a private radio frequency f3 and information the same as that sent from the PHS terminal equipment 11 with the public radio frequency f3 is relayed to the public base station 7A by using the private radio frequency f1 .
