摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device for monitoring a high-temperature incinerator which can be used simply by cooling devices including a radiation detection device with air at room temperature by shielding heat from a high-temperature part. SOLUTION: A closed-end heat-shielding member made of an electrically-conductive thin plate is provided between a sample box I and a radiation detector 7, the cylindrical part and the bottom part of an outer heat-shielding member 9b are formed in heat-insulated structure, and a ventilation hole 94 is provided between the cylindrical part and the bottom part. Air fed from an air-cooling fan 20 is passed between the radiation detector 7 and the cylindrical part of the heat-shielding member, and is passed between the heat-shielding members, both are cooled, and heat transfer due to the conduction and convection from a lower part is shut off. The air is discharged from the outer ventilation hole 94, replaces air in a lead shield, and suppresses the temperature increase. Further, the radiation detector 7 is surrounded by an outer- surrounding equipment 72, the reception of radiation heat is suppressed, and a part which can be covered of a heat source is covered with a heat-insulating material 15 with a reflection material, thus minimizing heat dissipation area.
