Pen with clip and clip guard

The pen writing tip (51) can retract into the shaft (1). A cover sector (AV) is built out as a clip guard. The clip (3) or its tip (31) extends axially to below the cover sector. The shaft has on its end a locking zone as a clip guard. The clip tip or a part of it at least in the writing position (S), enters into this locking zone. The clip tip is not in the locking zone in its retracted position. The locking zone may be formed as a groove or a centring cone.
