PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to recover reliably the chips of empty tapes without scattering the chips on the periphery of a cutting unit when the emply tapes sent out from a parts feeder are cut by the cutting unit. SOLUTION: A cutting unit 20 is provided with an upper blade 27 and a lower blade 29. The blade 27 is moved up and down by making an arm 22 swing centering around a pin 23 and cuts finely empty tapes which are sent from a parts feeder. The blade tip 27a of the blade 27 is slanted into a cone- shaped form and the swarfs of the tapes cut by this flade tip 27a are scattered toward the center of the cone-shaped blade tip 27a, are reliably sucked in the suction port 29a formed in a duct, which is positioned in the center, and are recovered. |
