The slats (1) are inserted in profiled aluminium guides (7), and are suspended by two or more ropes.They can pivot on the cables by sleeves (9) slotted at the ends. The lever extension generating the pivoting movement can be behind the axis of rotation, and pivoting occurs by pulling the blind back. A piece of sheet-metal in the shape of a rake (3) is inserted between the slats to generate this movement, and a locking plate (5) can be used to hold the slats in the vertical position for ventilation.
