The gear has skis (10) connected to a steering linkage at a pivot joint (12). The skis and the linkage move against the reaction of a spring resistance element (7). The linkages have two arms and are resistant to bending deformation. They are connected to the board frame by elastic cardan joints (6). One arm (13) carries the ski. The other arm is connected to the corresponding arm of the other linkage by a elastically torsional connection (16) which resists bending deformation. The axis of the pivot joint shaft with respect to the transverse line joining the shafts makes an angle ( alpha ) of between five and thirty angles.
