The invention concerns a helical conveyer with a cylindrical housing (1) which comprises a cylinder casing, a lower inlet opening (3) and an upper outlet opening (4). Disposed on the inner surface of the cylinder casing is a helical track (5) which leads from the inlet opening (3) to the outlet opening (4). According to the invention, the helical track (5) comprises a double base which is part of a cooling duct (7). The housing (1) can be constructed from modules (8-12). A cone (13) can be disposed on the lower base of the housing (1).
