COOLING SYSTEM FOR FREIGHT CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the temperature of the freights in a freight container all-over at adequate temperatures by ensuring uniform cold air flows around the freights, and prevent cold air from escaping at a time when a fan stops. SOLUTION: A cooling system for a freight container is provided with an ice bin 11 and air to be cooled flows toward walls 15 and 16 through a flow duct 23. At least a fan 4 is installed at a place above the lowermost part of the ice bin 11 to produce the air flow. At least a part of the flow duct 23 is formed by a space 21 between the wall 16 of the ice bin 11 and a screen 22 and between the screen 22 and an insulating wall 18 that forms an inner wall of the freight container, and the flow duct 23 extends down from the fan 4 toward the lowermost part of the ice bin 11 and stretches upward passing through the wall 16 of the ice bin 11.
