<p>A packaging device for a disc recording medium is disclosed. The device comprises a transparent sleeve (3) for the disc (1), the lower portion (4) of the sleeve (3) being semicircular while the upper sleeve portion (5) is rectangular and provided with a closing flap (8). A closure member (9) in the middle of the sleeve (3) is engageable with a complementary closure member (10) on the flap (8) such that said closure members (9, 10) hold the disc in place in the sleeve (3). Said packaging comprises a holder (11) for the sleeve (3), the holder being made by folding a sheet, and provided on one side with a semicircular cut-out (16). A circular hole (17) is provided in at least one surface of the holder (11) for receiving the closure members (9, 10). The sleeve (3) containing the disc (1) and the sleeve holder (11) may be secured to one another by engaging the closure member (10) on the flap (8) with the closure member (9) on the sleeve. After the sleeve and the disc have been removed, a print identical to the print on the top side of the disc (1) may be seen on the visible surface of the holder (11).
