OPTICAL VIDEO IMAGE TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate video noise due to optical beat noise and to eliminate the need for wavelength control and management. SOLUTION: Modulation transmission lights sent from each light source equipment 2 of plural transmission stations 1 are synthesized and the resulting light is sent through a common optical transmission line 3 and the modulation transmission light is received simultaneously by a reception station 4 to demodulate the light. In the optical video image transmission method, the luminous wavelength of the transmission light emitted from the light source equipment 2 is fluctuated timewise and optical beat noise generated in a transmission band is eliminated at a prescribed time interval. Only a frame having beat noise is eliminated and averaging processing for inter-frame information is conducted and a video image with less local deterioration is reproduced.
