摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reproducing performance of a magnetic recording and reproducing device by reducing jitter of channel bit signal generated by the asymmetrical reproducing characteristic of an optical pickup while making characteristics of equalizers asymmetrical. SOLUTION: A first adder 37 adds outputs of two amplifiers 29, 34. A second adder 38 adds outputs of remaining two amplifiers 31, 36. A selection part 39 selectively outputs the output of the first adder 37 or the second adder 38 according to a selection signal. A third adder 40 outputs an equalized high frequency reproduced signal RFe by adding the reproduced signal outputted from a delay unit 32 and the signal outputted from the selection part 39. A differentiator 41 differentiates the output of the third adder 40. Then, a zero crossing unit 42 makes a rectangular wave by zero crossing the output of the differentiator 41 to output it as the selection signal of the selection part 39.
