PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize electric discharge and increase laser beam power by providing a means which makes the laser gas flow in the discharge tube of a gas laser oscillator whirl. SOLUTION: A cylinder 5 which has a hole 5a at an angle is provided on the part from which laser gas is introduced to a discharge tube 1, and since laser gas passes through the hole 5a provided on the cylinder 5 in flowing into the discharge tube 1, the laser gas flow 3 whirls in the discharge tube 1. Since the laser gas Flow 3 whirls in the discharge tube 1 by providing the cylinder 5 which has the hole 5a at an angle on the laser gas introducing part of the discharge tube 1 which applies microwaves of different electric field oscillation directions, the electric discharge is stabilized, and laser power is improved. Therefore, the electric discharge in the discharge tube is stabilized and laser beam power is improved by providing the means, which whirls the laser gas flow, on the discharge tube introducing part. |
