RADIO METER-READING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically perform the remote meter-reading of different kinds of meter while using a radio transmitter/receiver even without exchanging the existing radio transmitter/receiver by providing a data transformation control means for transforming the specification of telegraphic message between the meter and the radio transmitter/receiver. SOLUTION: Between a radio transmitter/receiver 10 and a meter 11, a data transformation control means 12 is provided for transforming the specification of telegraphic message. The radio transmitter/receiver 10 has a radio transmitting/receiving means 13 and an information control means 14. The data transformation control means 12 exchanges electric signals (a) and (b) from the information control means 14 and the meter 11 while transforming the data contents of these signals between the both. Therefore, the remote meter-reading of various kinds of meters can be economically performed while using the radio transmitter/receiver 10 even without exchanging that existent radio transmitter/receiver 10 and several kinds of radio transmitters/receivers 10 are unnecessitated so that erroneous wiring or trouble for management can be eliminated.
