PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a continuous cooling of a condenser to be carried out even if an amount of dehumidified water is less by a method wherein there are provided a means for accumulating cooling water and a means for dispersing cooling water. SOLUTION: A wall 1 is fixed on a top plate 15 of an outdoor device to make a structure having a widely opened upper part 16 where cooling water is accumulated. In addition, there is also provided a signal hole 10 in such a way that a small amount of cooling water drops little by little before a condenser 4. When the air conditioner is operated, a fan 3 is being rotated, and the air flow indicated in the figure is produced in the direction shown in the figure. Accordingly, the cooling water dropped through the small hole 10 is adhered while being sucked into the condenser so as to cool the condenser 4. As the cooling water, rain water is accumulated on the top plate 15 when the outdoor device is installed at a location where it is fully wetted with rain water, and in turn when the outdoor device is installed at a location where it is not wetted with rain water, the rain water dropped from a roof is accumulated on the top plate 15 through a tube 12. Reference numeral 14 denotes a trough for the roof. With such an arrangement as above, a time for turning-OFF a compressor is extended and a consumption power is reduced. |
