摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the deterioration in color, to obtain a high weatherability and high image quality and to reduce the cost by providing a color separating means with a first color filter layer consisting of an org. material and a second color filter layer consisting of multilayered dielectric film. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a sandwich structure obtd. by holding a liquid crystal layer 20 of a polymer-dispersion type between an array substrate 1 and a counter substrate 10. The counter substrate 10 has a structure obtd. by laminating second color filter 15 consisting of a multilayered dielectric film, light shielding layer a 11 consisting of Cr/CrO and first color filters 16a to 16c consisting of an org. pigment on a glass substrate 10a, then laminating a protective film 13 and a counter electrode (ITO) 14 thereon. The second color filter 15 acts as filter to allow the transmission on the longer wavelength side than yellow regions. Further, in the second color filter 15, apertures are formed only in the regions, where blue color is transmitted, among the transparent parts of the first color filters 16a to 16c.</p>
