<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transferring and carrying belt from being deformed and damaged so as to prevent a jammed sheet attracted to the transferring and carrying belt from being broken in the case of removing the jammed sheet. SOLUTION: When jamming is caused on a recording sheet at a fixing roller pair 146, the whole operation of a copying device main body is stopped, and the contact condition of each roller of the pair 146 is released. When the jamming is caused on the recording sheet at a resist roller pair 132, whole operation of the copying device main body is stopped and the contact condition of each roller of the pair 132 is released. The transferring and carrying belt 133 is lowered to a specified position by a releasing lever, then a remaining sheet nipped and stopped at the nip part of the roller pair 132 is sent out to the paper supplying side by a feeding means, or the remaining sheet nipped and stopped at the nip part of the roller pair 146 is sent out to the paper discharging side by the feeding means.</p> |
