<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer which is capable of forming a stable and uniform toner layer on a developer carrying member and exhibiting releasability at a lower temp., has good offset resistance and excellent powder flowability and does not give rise to blocking. SOLUTION: This image forming method has a latent image forming stage, a developing stage for developing the latent image by forming the thin layer of the developer on the developer carrying member, a transfer stage and a fixing stage. In such a case, the nonmagnetic one-component developer which is composed of toner particles contg. a binder resin, a lubricant consisting of a modified polyethylene wax formed by bringing styrene monomer and/or an unsatd. carboxylic acid monomer into graft polymn. with ethylene polymer obtd. by polynm. in the presence of a metharocene catalyst or an ethylenic copolymer consisting of ethylene and a 3 to 10Cα-olefin and coloring agents and of which the electrostatic charge quantity in the case of using of carriers for two components is|20|to|50|μc/g is used as the developer.</p> |
