PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the artifacts of a boundary at the time of composting images. SOLUTION: A texture sample is selected from the image (S1) and the area of the image to be refilled is discriminated (S3). Thereafter, the estimation of a composited texture is generated (S5), a prescribed space domain restriction is applied to the estimation (S7) and Fourier transformation is executed to the estimation with the space restriction (S9). A prescribed spectral domain restriction is applied to the transformed estimation (S11), inverse Fourier transformation is executed to the estimation with the spectral restriction and a composited texture is generated (S13). Then, the composited texture is inserted to the area of the image to be refilled. |
