PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the consumption of a coloring material such as ink and reduce the running cost, and further increase the recording speed of facsimile equipment which prints an error message or transmission contents as a transmission end indication. SOLUTION: The print density of the error message or transmission contents 35 in the end indication is made lower than normal print density. The print density can be made lower by printing, for example, alternate dots, and consequently while the consumption of the coloring material such as ink is reduced, the recording speed can be increased. Further, not only when a monochromatic printer is used as a recording system, but also when a color printer outputs the error message, etc., chromatically and when the color printer records the error message monochromatically, this is applicable and similar effect is obtained. |
