摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the S/N in the wavelength division multiplex soliton transmission system by intensifying power density of a soliton to enhance the sensitivity of a saturated absorbing body and additional background noise. SOLUTION: A transmission system 300 is provided with an optical transmitter 310 consisting of a drive circuit 311 and a light source 312, an optical fiber 320, a splice 330, a coupler 340, an amplifier 350, an equipment 360 inserted to improve the S/N of the system 300 and an optical receiver 370 consisting of a photo detector 371, an amplifier 372 and a signal adjustment device 373 and also with a saturation absorbing body with a component to enhance the power density of the received soliton and the additional background noise and with a prescribed re-combination factor. The saturation absorbing body absorbs part of the soliton smaller than part of the additional background noise and the component intensifies the power density of the soliton and the additional background noise to enhance the sensitivity of the saturation absorbing body.
