PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the parallelism of an image carrier from being deviated by providing a temperature adjusting means for substantially making the temperature of a structural body holding one-side ends of plural image carriers the same as that of a structural body holding the other ends thereof. SOLUTION: An axial fan 21 sucking outside air from the aperture of a rear cover and flowing the outside air to a rear side plate 12 to cool it, is set astern of the plate 12. The fan 21 is set proximately to the position of the supporting part of the drum driving shafts 15a to 15d on the plate 12 in order to effectively cool the periphery of the supporting part of the shafts 15a to 15d on the plate 12. Furthermore, it is positioned closer to the shaft 15c side near to a fixing device in order to make a cooling effect high on a side near to the fixing device. Therefore, even when the temperature in the device rises, the plate 12 is kept at the same temperature as a front side plate 11 or a common aligning plate 16 at parts being an equal distance from the fixing device by actuating the fan 21 with image forming operation. |
