<p>The system is designed for telephone systems, especially in cellular mobile telephone systems with coding-divided multiple access. It overcomes the harmful attenuation without causing any undesired disturbances in the system. In the control system, every cellular mobile telephone and cellular centre has an serial, transmitter and receiver. The signal power transmitted from the cellular centre (12 & 13) and in the mobile unit (16 & 18) is measured. The transmitter power in the mobile unit (16 & 18) is tuned opposite to the power gains and reductions of the received signal. The signal power, transmitted from the mobile unit (16 & 18) and received in the cellular centre (12 & 14) is measured. A command signal is produced in the cellular centre (12 & 14) which is sent to the mobile unit (16 & 18) for following power adjustment of its transmitter in accordance with any power deviations of the power of the signal received in the cellular centre (12 & 14). A scheme for feedback is used for the subsequent adjustment of the power of the transmitter of the mobile unit (16 & 18), so that the signals transmitted by it should arrive in the cellular centre with the desired power level.</p> |
