PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connector for a flexible base plates which can adopt a zero insertion force structure relating to contact of terminals in two sheets of the flexible base plates and prevent deterioration of operability by avoiding enlarging in size of the relay connector. SOLUTION: In the inside of a housing 9 of a relay connector 1, a plurality of almost H-shaped contacts 11 are provided, connection parts 5 of two sheets of flexible base plates 3, 4 are inserted along both end parts 17, 19 of the contact from an opposite direction to each other. After the flexible base plates 3, 4 are inserted, when a slide cover 25 is inserted in the housing 9, the first flexible base plate 3 and one end part 17 are brought into elastic contact, the one end part 17 is retracted. When the one end part 17 is retreated, an H-shaped piece 11C is turned with a central piece 11B serving as the center, the other end part 19 is brought into press contact with a terminal 5 of the second flexible base plate 3. |
