The present invention discloses a quick connector for coupling tubing having grooved ends, said quick connector comprising an annular clamp which normally comprises a diameter larger than that of the tubing associated therewith, and which is contracted and closed in the contracted condition, the interior diameter of the clamp being smaller than that of the tubing, the outer diameter of the annular clamp being larger than that of the connector orifice, and the annular clamp closing the connector, thereby preventing the tubing from being removed, under said contracted condition.
