<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the authenticity of securities such as a coupon ticket using thermosensitive paper without requiring power for operations by providing a pressing member for scrubbing a thin film sheets while pressing it onto the surface of an original. SOLUTION: Securities 8 to be discriminated of its authenticity is placed on a flat supporting table 10 and a thin film sheet 2 is arranged on its surface. When a main body 3 of device is manually pressed and slid on this surface, a rubber blade 7 of the pressing member presses and scrubs the thin film sheet 2 on the surface of the securities 8. When the securities 8 is true one composed of a printed matter, its surface is smooth so that the thin film sheet 2 is not changed. When the securities 8 is forged one composed of a copied matter on the other hand, fine ruggedness caused by the presence/absence of toner exists on its surface so that this ruggedness is transferred onto the thin film sheet 2 and visually observed. Namely, when the securities 8 is a copy, its printed image is floated on the surface of the thin film sheet 2 so that the truth/copy can be discriminated by visually observing this image.</p> |
