An arrangement for producing tablets or pressed components, comprises at least two press stampers which are arranged vertically and can move relative to one another, and a die. The stampers comprise upper and lower members. A ring is located on the stamper shaft of the upper stamper, and consists of a deformable material which can absorb liquid. The ring is preferrably surrounded by a rubber or plastic collar.
