PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow this controlling method to cope with increment in the number of mobile stations by observing the whole transmission power of a base station, and when the observed value exceeds a prescribed value, weakening a pilot signal and increasing the number of mobile stations of which communication is to be interruptted. SOLUTION: A result obtained by adding signals outputted from a communication channel transmitter 103 and a pilot signal transmitter 104 is supplied to an overall transmission power observing part 105 and outputted to an antenna through an amplifier 106. When the observed result of the observing part 105 exceeds a 1st prescribed value as the result of comparison by a comparator 107, a pilot signal transmission power control part 102 executes control so as to reduce the transmission power. Thereby transmission power to be allocated to a communication channel is increased. When the observed result of the observing part 105 does not exceeds a 2nd prescribed value smaller than the 1st prescribed value, the control part 102 executes control so as to increase the transmission power. |
