PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive electronic mail transmitter/receiver by providing the transmitter/receiver with a translation means and a prescribed machine translation server. SOLUTION: The transmitter/receiver is constituted of plural terminal equipments 11 and at least one machine translation server 13. Each terminal equipment 11 capable of transmitting/receiving a mail is constituted of a general- purpose work station or a personal computer and a transmitting/receiving function capable of transmitting/receiving a mail is added to the equipment 11. A mail header changing part 12 is built in the equipment 11 as a part of its operation programs. At the time of judging that the application language of a mail sender is different from that of a mail receiver when a terminal user transmits a mail, the changing part 12 rewrites the mail header of the mail. The application langage of the mail sender and mail receiver can be checked by a method in which the language to be used by each user has previously been registered, or the like. |
