PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the circuit scale of a digital interface by using signals on a bus for a digital interface signal to omit a timing circuit. SOLUTION: A signal generated by an application processing section 7 consisting of an audio signal processing section 2 and a video signal processing section 5 and a signal generated by a data recorder processing section 13 consisting of an error correction device 11 and a modem 12 are coupled with one data bus in the case of recording/reproduction. In this case 15 sets of video signal blocks and on audio signal block obtained by dividing number of audio signal blocks and video signal blocks recorded one track by the greatest common measure are sent as one transmission unit and the arrangement of the blocks is selected the same as a transmission sequence by the interface and the blocks are arranged in one frame uniformly. Thus, the interface 9 is realized with a minimum circuit scale.
