PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device exciting or ionizing vapor or gas in an electric field. SOLUTION: A plurality of electrodes 1 are extended through an excitation chamber 2, both sides of each electrode are supported by supporters j∥4. The supporter 4 forms an opposed wall of the excitation chamber 2. Each electrode has a center conductor in a protection tube. The protection tube is air-tightly connected in the supporter 4. A device thus formed is easily manufactured, each electrode can be removed or replaced for maintenance or replacement.
