发明名称 MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION AS WELL AS MAGNETIC PRINTER FORMED BY USING THE MEDIUM
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the attraction force to magnetic toners and to obtain images having good quality by laminating plural layers of an amorphous alloy film consisting of rare earth metals and transition metals. SOLUTION: A magnetic drum 4 is constituted by successively laminating magnetic recording media 2 and protective films 3 on a drum base 1 consisting of Al as a material. The magnetic recording media 2 are formed by laminating plural layers of the amorphous alloy films 2a of the rare earth metals-transition metals, such as TbCo films, DyCo films, GdCo films, TbFeCo films, DyFeCo films or GdFeCo films. The film thickness of the magnetic recording media 2 is preferably in a range of 0.5 to 5.0μm. The protective films 3 are formed of nitrides, such as AlN and TiN and the film thickness is preferably in a range of 0.01 to 1.0μm. The magnetic recording media 2 have the magnetization direction parallel with the surface. The coercive force is lowered by heating the media at a prescribed temp. and magnetic latent images are formed by impressing bias magnetic fields.
