<p>Device for measuring the temperature during the drilling process in surgical implantation, whereby a probe-sensor is introduced through the inlet orifice on the internal irrigation of the drill, the probe remaining inside the drill throughout the drilling process. The signal provided by the sensor is transmitted through an electric or optical conductor to an operational amplifier which processes said signal and displays the data in a monitor. Optionally, the data processor may control the motor which rotates the drill thereby controlling the drilling temperature like an 'automatic pilot'.</p> |
