<p>The present invention relates to a process to prepare acrylic acid and/or esters comprising the steps of: (a) propene and/or acrylic acid acrolein catalytic gas phase oxidation so as to obtain a gaseous reaction product comprising acrylic acid, (b) absorption with solvent of reaction product, (c) distillation of solvent loaded with acrylic acid to obtain a crude acrylic acid and solvent, (d) crude acrylic acid purification by crystallization, and (e) optionally crystalline acrylic acid sterification.</p> |
