PURPOSE:To simulate the effect that a pitch is varied to a pure temperament when a chord is played on a piano, an organ, etc., by filtering a sound through a filter means which has its peak at the frequency of the pure temperament of a generated musical sound with a temperament. CONSTITUTION:Waveform data read out of a waveform memory 22 are inputted to the filter 25, to which a delay time DT having cycles coincident with the pure temperature frequency and a key-ON pulse KONP are inputted as parameters. A musical sound generating means generates the musical sound tuned with the temperament and the generated musical sound is passed through the filter means 25 whose characteristics are so adjusted as to pass and amplify the frequency component with the temperament of the musical sound most. Consequently, timbre similar to a state wherein strings which are tuned with, for example, the temperature are vibrated forcibly almost at the frequency of the pure temperament by the vibrations of other strings is obtained. |
