PURPOSE:To prevent a V-belt from exceeding the speed limit even if car speed gets beyond the allowable maximum speed at a downhill road or the like. CONSTITUTION:At more than the specified car speed, a shift pattern is set up so as to make a desired input rotational speed smaller than the case other than that. In brief, at more than the specified car speed, a transmission gear ratio is suddenly changed to a small side. With this constitution, the rotational speed of a driving pulley goes down and speed in a V-belt becomes lowered as well. |
