Clamping device for the electrical connection of a cable

The cable shoe is of sheet material with a U-shaped holder part (4) bent together to hold the conducting cable end and a flat attachment part in one piece with the holder part and forming a lug with a hole and thread used either with a nut enclosing the lug or a bolt passing through the hole. The nut or bolt head has a peripheral flange and the attachment part has at least one protruding holder tongue which axially secures the bolt head. The flange (13) protrudes radially wrt. the nut (12) or bolt head and the holder part reaches as far as the outer periphery (16) of the flange to act upon it radially and/or fix it in position ADVANTAGE : Has threading radially and axially secured wrt. cable shoe with improved flexural stiffness of transition between holder part and attachment part.
