The connection is used between an electrical component element (1) and a connection point (2) provided by a contact plate (4) and a heat sink block (3), with centre contacts (5,7) and outer contacts (6,8) of both arranged coaxially. The centre contact of the component element fits through an opening provided by the outer contact of the connection point, to engage the centre contact of the latter, while the outer contact of the component element engages the outer contact of the connection point around the edge of this opening. The contact sizes and positions prevent a short-circuit across the connection point contacts.
