An ink jet ink composition comprises (a) a water soluble polymer; (b) a glycol ether blend as a cosolvent;; (c) a water soluble dye; (d) a surfactant; and (e) a liquid vehicle. Amounts of (a), (b), and (d) are 0.05-0.15 wt.%, 0.05-2.00 wt.%, and 0.01-0.10 wt.%.. Also claimed is a process for generating images by incorporating the ink composition into an ink jet printing apparatus and forming images by expelling ink droplets onto a substrate. |
